DESCRIPTION:CMU Mobile Health Central Clinic to Promote Hearing Health at On-site Visit in Traverse City\n\n\n\nThe CMU Mobile Health Central Clinic will visit Traverse City on April 23rd and will be on-site at the Northwest Education Services (North Ed) Career Tech campus at 880 Parsons Rd. Throughout the school day\, the CMU Mobile Health Clinic will meet with instructors and students\, conduct hearing screenings for participating classes\, and provide general education about Audiology and the various health services the clinic can provide throughout the region. CMU's Mobile Health team will include the clinic director and CMU audiology students who assist with the screenings and provide high school students with hands-on experience in how to provide health services in innovative ways.\n\n \n\nThe CMU Mobile Health Clinic aligns well with this year's theme\, Rural Health Innovation\, as our mission is 'to bridge gaps in services and increase access to care through collaborative partnerships by providing health assessments\, screenings\, and referrals to underserved populations in Michigan. The CMU Mobile Health Central is a clinical and health education outreach initiative of the Central Michigan University Herbert H. and Grace A.
