SUMMARY:Women In Business Webinar Series
DESCRIPTION:This three-part series is geared exclusively towards women in business who are ready to dive deeper into productive habits\, leadership skills\, and personal development that will help them grow in their career. Over the course of 6 weeks you will grow alongside a small group of women who are committed to being open and honest about the challenges that women face in the workplace today and how to move through these obstacles with confidence.\n\n \n\nWe will meet bi-weekly virtually and while the topics will change\, they build upon each other. Everything you learn will be documented in a digital workbook that is provided upon registration.\n\n \n\nWhen we're done you'll have a complete toolkit ready to reference when insecurities strike\, as well as cohorts to lean on for support. Each session will be 60 minutes long and consist of a 20-minute presentation led by ALC coupled with facilitated live group exercises designed to help you build in real time on the material presented.\n\n\n\nSession One: Personal Development is Leadership Development\n\nThere are a ton of workshops on personal development and leadership development\, but we believe it's one and the same. Through an interactive presentation and live group exercises we'll discover what areas you need to build upon and how to get started on the path to improvement. In this workshop we walk through all the elements of personal development that also build and develop your leadership skills to their fullest potential. We'll explore topics such as your core values and rate your reliability to yourself.\n\n\n\nSession Two: Overcoming Leadership Obstacles in the Workplace\n\nNo matter what sector you work in\, or how far up the ladder you have climbed\, there are always obstacles to overcome in the workplace. As women\, we face a unique set of challenges. In this session we will examine things such as your adaptability and risk tolerance. We'll also confront the top three obstacles women face the most often in the workplace. Some challenges are more difficult than others\, but we all need a strategy for tackling them head on with precision\, grace and confidence-as well as the company of those who have been there and get it.\n\n \n\nSession Three: Putting it Together: Integrating Habits for Lasting Change\n\nAs women we face impossible to-do lists. We heap on thing after thing and work\, personal and home life blends together in a blur during most days of the week. In this workshop we'll take a bird's eye view of what your priorities are\, what you want your true purpose to be\, an assessment of your time and most importantly-how you can start prioritizing yourself-both inside and outside of the office.\n\n\n\nSpeakers:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSabrina Morrice\, Founder & CEO\n\nAnchorlight Creative \n\n\n\nI'm a digital strategist\, marketing coach & process expert. I am 100% obsessed with helping women creatives put their best digital foot forward and calming the chaos that comes with running a small business. Those things you hate? I probably love them. I love workflows\, telling stories through marketing and helping women succeed and make an impact in the world.\n\n\n\nAfter leaving the corporate world and founding Anchorlight Creative in 2013\, I have been working with creative\, entrepreneurial women\, building beautiful websites\, creating strategies for growth and helping them scale their businesses intentionally and with joy.\n\n\n\nMore on me? I have two terrific kids\, two needy GSDs\, a brilliant tech wizard of a husband who is the handiest man alive\, and a deep love for dark chocolate with hazelnuts\, traveling the world and a penchant for buying all the books at every bookstore I stop in at. I love summer and my best life is on a Leland beach with friends and a Good Harbor Pinot Noir Ros in hand.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAnnie Zimmerman\, Lead Small Business Strategist\n\nAnchorlight Creative\n\n\n\nHi! Annie here. I am the lead small business strategist and consultant. I started this journey with Anchorlight in 2019 after shuttering my own brick and mortar business in Traverse City. I mean it when I say I understand the complexities and insecurities of being a small business owner. I've been there\, done that and although my path here has been a winding one\, I have finally found my calling. It gives me so much joy to guide fellow entrepreneurs in their journey to success and business confidence.\n\n \n\nI am a Traverse City native who lived in Chicago for six years before moving back.
