This event is presented by:
Gain insights into the latest developments in Northern Michigan Health Innovation Hubs, followed by a targeted networking opportunity aimed at establishing intentional partnerships among higher education and community stakeholders to address rural health priorities. The forum will bring together community leaders with higher education resource providers and will offer a fantastic opportunity to highlight impactful work and explore potential collaborations with both University and Community Partners.
The CMU Rural Health Equity Institute is collaborating with NMC and Grand Valley State University to plan and present the forum.

Objectives:
1.Increase knowledge of N. Michigan Rural Health landscape – challenges and opportunities
2.Gain new information about N. Michigan Rural Health Innovation Hubs (SDOH) and networks and their focus on improving health outcomes by addressing interconnected inequities.
3.Discuss current community collaborations
4.Explore opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration for working together with the community on health priorities
5.Take away 1-2 connections for collaborative initiatives in 2024.
