Hello! I’m a digital strategist, marketing coach & process expert. I am 100% obsessed with helping women creatives put their best digital foot forward and calming the chaos that comes with running a small business. Those things you hate? I probably love them. I love workflows, telling stories through marketing and helping women succeed and make an impact in the world.

Since founding Anchorlight Creative in 2013, I have been working with creative, entrepreneurial women– building beautiful websites, creating strategies for growth and helping them scale their businesses intentionally and with joy.

More on me? I have two terrific kids, two needy GSDs, a brilliant tech wizard of a husband who is the handiest man alive, and a deep love for dark chocolate with hazelnuts, traveling the world and a penchant for buying all the books at every bookstore I stop in at. I love summer and my best life is on a Leland beach with friends + a Good Harbor Pinot Noir Rosé in hand.

Hi! Annie here, aka the “Mom” of my friend group and usually the first to go to bed. I have always been a natural caregiver and fiercely independent. Growing up the oldest of three boys really is great training wheels for adulthood: multi-tasking, remaining calm in stressful situations, being the expert of conflict resolution and knowing when a hurt finger might be, in fact, broken.

I was born and raised in Traverse City, MI and live there with my husband, new baby, dog and cat. We are very outdoorsy and try to squeeze a hike in whenever our schedule allows. I am a beach bum at heart, but currently looking for winter activities to get me through (got any ideas?).

Although my path to ALC has been a winding one, I am so excited to dig in. I understand the complexities and insecurities of being a small business owner. I’ve been there, done that and am excited to be your helping hand to guide you through to your next chapter, wherever that may be.
