Help the Grand Traverse Conservation District continue restoration efforts on the bottomlands of the Natural Education Reserve! YPs will be meeting at the Beaver Pond Trailhead and planting native trees and shrubs with the Conservation District staff on Saturday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If you are interested, please make sure to wear sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate outerwear, work gloves, and a mask for safety! While shovels will be available, you are encouraged to bring your own. Light snacks will be provided (but bring a water bottle to stay hydrated).
Note: In addition to following the safety guidelines of the host venue, those in attendance at a Traverse City Young Professionals event are asked to wear masks (except when eating or drinking) and to adhere to social distancing practices as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
