Description
This webinar will provide an overview of the benefits hospitality employers experience when they hire a culinary graduate or intern to work at their establishment. Additional explanations will be provided on how to become an NMC/GLCI Internship Partner and develop an internship experience.
Speakers:
Les Eckert
Les Eckert is the Culinary Director at Great Lakes Culinary Institute at Northwest Michigan College. Certified by the American Culinary Federation, Eckert is a Certified Executive Pastry Chef, Certified Culinary Educator and a member of the American Academy of Chefs. Eckert has been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years working in restaurants, hotels and being a business owner and in higher education for almost 15 years as an instructor and program creator and director.
Catheryn Claerhout
Cathryn Claerhout, Director of Admissions at Northwestern Michigan College. Over 30 years of Admissions and Enrollment Management experience in higher education. National presenter for SEM Enrollment Management, NACAC, MACAC, AACRAO, Ellucian and MCCSSA. Contributing author to AACARO's Basic Guide to Enrollment Management and SEM Anthology.
