Full-Time • Traverse City, MI • Pay Range: $23 - $26 per hour

The Home Builders Association of Northwest Michigan is looking for an energetic, organized, and people-loving professional to serve as our logistics guru and team nurturer. This role ensures our office runs smoothly, supports our members and staff, and helps our events and programs shine.

What You’ll Do
Office & Administrative Operations
- Serve as the welcoming presence of the HBA—answering phones, greeting guests, and supporting members.
- Manage daily office operations, including opening/closing procedures and building security.
- Maintain shared files, organize records, and manage office supply inventory.
- Coordinate calendars for events, committees, education programs, and conference room rentals.
- Process daily mail, postage, and various administrative tasks.
Vendor Coordination
- Work directly with cleaning, landscaping, snow removal, IT, A/V, pest control, and printing vendors to keep the office running smoothly.
Event & Member Support
- Assist with committee work, meeting minutes, membership invoicing, and event submissions.
- Support raffles, General Membership Meetings, and occasional evening/weekend events.
- Help prepare committee packets, print materials, and assist with marketing and communications.
Conference Room Management
- Schedule rentals, coordinate catering, oversee room setups, and manage door access.
And Other Important Tasks
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Officer and team.
- Step in where needed—because at the HBA, teamwork is everything.

- Tech-comfortable (Microsoft Office, social media; willing to learn new systems)
- Excellent communicator—both written and verbal

- A team player who enjoys working hard, solving problems, and having fun while doing it
