Job Summary: Assist lending officer in analysis and administration of lending accounts. Complete the loan documentation process, while interacting with customers, lenders and others throughout the process.
 
 
Job Duties:

  • Works closely with Lenders and Credit Analysts to process Commercial Loans, Letters of Credit, Lines of Credit, which includes new loans, renewals and extensions of existing loans.
  • Acquire and confirm all Borrowers and Guarantors information and obtain pertinent documentation for Corporations, LLC's, and other entities by using State and other websites
  • Acquire supporting documentation regarding the collateral via Title Companies, UCC Website, FEMA, Insurance Agents, OFAC, LARA, and SOS websites
  • Process and produce the loan closing documents with Laser Pro documentation software, entering all borrower information, collateral, terms, repayment information, as well as disbursement information.
  • Create Loan Documentation Files after closing. Build these files with closed loan documents, borrower information and supporting loan documentation.
  • Ensures loan documents are complete and accurate according to government regulations and bank policy
  • Scan closed loan documents, record/process/mail recordable documents, collect/process loan fees, and prepare the file for uploading.
  • Provide a complete loan file to Loan Servicing for upload on to our Bankway System.
  • Post-closing follow up of collateral and documentation
  • During and after the closing, duties can also include processing wire transfers for funding, transfer of loan proceeds, construction draws, general ledger transactions and preparing Cashier's Checks
  • In addition to the Loan Officer, Commercial Loan Assistants are another point of contact for customers, providing assistance with ongoing loan questions, banking questions, or documentation follow up.
  • Commercial Loan Assistants work closely with Loan Officers, Closing Agents at Title Companies, Insurance Agents, Loan Servicing Staff, and the Retail Offices.
  • Assist Loan Officers with their loan portfolios and the administration of commercial lending accounts.
  • When working with customers and other team members, a responsive, positive attitude is required  as part of the bank's "Yes, I can!" approach to service.
