Job Description:
Nurse Practitioners provide advanced primary and specialty nursing services. Assessment, diagnosis, & treatment to all clients.

Job Responsibilities:
-Provide palliative and primary care to patients in their homes and assisted living.
-Perform physical exams and patient observations
-Record patient medical histories and symptoms
-Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans
-Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests
-Monitor and operate medical equipment
-Diagnose health issues and offer treatment options
-Detect changes in patients health and change treatment plan as necessary
-Administer medicines and treatments
-Evaluate response to treatments and medications
-Consult with healthcare professionals
-Training patients and families on managing illnesses or injuries and disease prevention
-Assess and identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets
-Assist in the establishment of company goals and objectives
-Design business strategies and plans to meet company goals
-Ensure that the company has sufficient resources, such as personnel, material, and equipment
-Work with managers to create long-term company strategy
-Work with a variety of patients varying in age and health status
-Be friendly, courteous and sympathetic when it comes to working with patients and families
-Practice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment per OSHA standards
-Follow all state, federal and/or local health and safety rules, laws and regulations
-Completes all mandatory training
-Maintains all necessary licensing/certification
-Provides excellent customer service, including handling custom calls/concerns in a professional manner
