Job Description

? Provide day-to-day oversight and leadership of the pump and packaging assembly areas to ensure workflow is meeting schedule output

? Maintain expert level skill on all pump and packaging assembly processes and train assemblers on these processes

? Oversee department resources to maximize production efficiency

? Ensure employees have all required tools and materials to perform their daily jobs

? Assist Engineering department with RMA evaluations

? Take proper care of tools and measuring equipment (including cooling and oil)

? Ensure work areas are organized, clean and create safe working environment

? Be sure safety checks are being done in area and any issues are being addressed

? Coordinate with other department leaders to ensure production requirements are being met

Experience requirements

? 3-5 years of assembly experience required

? Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication

? Experience with hand tools, power tools and machinery

Knowledge

? Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams

? Adjust, operate, and understand set-up of machines and tools in your area to produce various parts with specifications from blueprints

? Proficiency with measuring equipment, such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers

? Forklift driving license is desirable

Must have reliable transportation.
