E-Commerce Marketing Intern

Summary of Position:

The Cherry Republic Digital Marketing team is seeking for the first time ever, an E-commerce Marketing Intern!  We are looking for an energetic intern for the Fall of 2022, who will proudly share our Brand, Northern Michigan, and those Ruby Red Morsels of Joy (cherries) far and wide! You will have the opportunity to gain experience by working on our website, blog, testing & validating new web applications as well as collaborating on marketing campaigns with our digital & marketing team. 

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Proudly share in the love of the Cherry! 

  • Assist with website product page updates including SEO.

  • Assist with website category changes as needed.

  • Assist with basic CSS/HTML updates.

  • Assist with WordPress Blog development & existing blog updates.

  • Help test new applications and updates to the BigCommerce site.

  • Assist with product review approvals.

  • Lead in providing digital web analytics.

  • Support Digital Marketing team initiatives.

 

Necessary Skills:

  • Interest in web-development, digital marketing, or digital support.

  • Exposure to content management systems with a desire to learn both front and back ends.

  • Exposure to CSS, HTML, BigCommerce and WordPress.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask, work independently and prioritize effectively.

  • Organized with strong follow through skills to ensure all tasks are completed.

  • Deadline oriented.

  • Technical capacity.

Educational Requirements – High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be enrolled in a Marketing, Digital, Computer or Business related program at an accredited college or university.
