The Traverse Bay Resiliency Center is a community-based resource dedicated to supporting long-term healing and promoting mental health for individuals and our broader community following the mass violence incident that impacted Traverse City in July 2025 at Walmart. Resiliency Centers are intentionally designed to meet the unique needs of the communities they serve and may operate for varying lengths of time based on funding availability and community needs.
Now Hiring: The Survivor Support Specialist fulfills a critical position within the Traverse Bay Resiliency Center.
Created in the aftermath of mass violence incident (MVI), like the incident in July 2025 at the Traverse city Walmart, the Survivor Support Specialist identifies and provides guidance and referrals for quality, collaborative services and supports victims and affected community members.
