Job Description Restaurant Supervisor
We are looking to hire a customer-oriented restaurant supervisor to ensure that all restaurant operations run smoothly. The restaurant supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the activities of the restaurant staff, expediting customer’s orders as needed and overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
Maintain quality control for all food served.
Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service and respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally.
Authorizing refunds or other equivalent options.
Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff.
Preparing customer food as necessary.
Operating the point of sale system, processing customer payments and issuing gift cards.
Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards.
Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs.
