HEAD ROASTER/PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

Overview

The Head Roaster is responsible for crafting and maintaining the quality of Espresso Bay coffee. This role focuses on roasting, production, and consistency across all offerings and is in person at their Roastery at 319 Pine St, Kalkaska, MI 49646.

Key Responsibilities

• Roast coffee according to established profiles
• Maintain and refine roast profiles for consistency and quality
• Maintain proper roasted bean inventory stock levels for each coffee blend
• Handle green coffee intake and storage
• Assist with grinding, blending, and cold brew production
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Assist with production planning alongside Operations Lead
