Neuco started over 30-years ago in Traverse City and this year is growing to the Grand Rapids market. We have a robust customer base in Traverse City who could be a wealth of leads. As a Sales Associate you will play a key role in building our brand awareness and growing our business in the Grand Rapids area. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, enthusiastic, and (can become) knowledgeable about the latest trends in commercial design and furniture

Responsibilities-

**Customer Engagement:** Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, offering a friendly and knowledgeable approach to address inquiries and build lasting client relationships.

- **Sales Process Management:** Guide clients through the furniture purchasing process, from initial consultation to post-sale follow-up, ensuring a seamless experience.

- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain a thorough understanding of our products, materials, finishes, and customization options to confidently answer customer questions and make recommendations.

- **Consultative Selling:** Assess customer needs, suggest suitable furniture and upholstery options, and offer solutions that align with their style, functionality, and budget requirements.

- **Design Collaboration:** Work closely with our team to develop layout options, customize products, and create unique solutions that meet specific customer requirements.

- **Order Processing & Tracking:** Manage sales orders from start to finish, coordinating with production, delivery teams, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

- **Client Follow-Up:** Provide ongoing support for clients, ensuring satisfaction with their purchases and addressing any post-sale questions or concerns.

- **Market & Trend Awareness:** Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and market developments to provide clients with up-to-date insights and inspiration.

- **Sales Goals:** Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets by proactively seeking new sales opportunities and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, ideally within the furniture, design, or commercial interiors industry.

- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a consultative sales approach.

- Knowledge of furniture design, finishes, upholstery, and commercial furniture trends.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

- **Work Style:** Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
