About Us

Independent Caregiver Services, LLC provides in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities across Leelanau, Grand Traverse, Antrim and Benzie counties, from Suttons Bay, Northport, Glen Arbor and Cedar to Traverse City, Elk Rapids, Bellaire and Frankfort.

We provide three levels of care that can be combined and adjusted as needs change:

Companion Care: social interaction, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, transportation and medication reminders.

Personal Care: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and transfer assistance, and medication management.

Comprehensive Care: dementia and Alzheimer's support, hospice and end of life care, respite for family caregivers, and 24/7 or overnight scheduling.

The difference families notice most is consistency. Rather than rotating a different caregiver through the house each day, your caregiver sets their schedule and stays with you, so your family gets to know the person providing care. We are locally owned, so when you call you reach Joan directly.
