Michigan Tire Recyclers (MTR) is a Michigan-owned scrap tire hauling and recycling company. Over the past five years we’ve grown from a handful of customers to more than 380 commercial accounts statewide, serving auto dealerships, tire shops, fleets, municipalities, and waste haulers.

Now we’re putting down roots in Northern Michigan. Our new tire processing yard in Traverse City lets us give local businesses something they’ve never had: fast, dependable service from a hauler that’s actually here. That means daily pickups for high-volume customers, flexible scheduling for everyone else, and weekly or monthly billing set up however your business runs, including separate invoicing for each location.

Every tire we collect is recycled. We don’t stockpile, and we don’t cut corners. Every load is fully documented, so our customers know exactly where their tires went. We’re registered with Michigan EGLE and have kept a clean compliance record since day one, because doing this right protects our customers, our communities, and the lakes, rivers, and forests that make Northern Michigan home.
