THOMPSONVILLE, Mich. (June 7, 2023) – Crystal Mountain leadership is pleased to announce the promotion of Brittney Primeau (Buti) to the Director of Communications. This comes after serving nearly two years as the manager of public relations.

"Since Brittney's arrival in July 2021, she has consistently demonstrated her exceptional ability to manage media relations with enthusiasm and a creative approach,” said Arah Johnson, VP of Sales and Marketing. “Her efforts have elevated our brand awareness and opened doors to new opportunities. We are confident she will continue to excel, representing Crystal Mountain in the hospitality and tourism industry.”

As director of communications, Primeau will continue to lead all aspects of public relations while placing a greater emphasis on securing partnerships, expanding earned media coverage, and highlighting Crystal Mountain’s community engagement.

In her previous role, Primeau helped recognize Crystal Mountain’s snowmaking team in the Ski Area Management ‘I AM a Snowmaker’ competition, coordinated a winter commercial shoot with Pure Michigan and landed Crystal Mountain as a finalist for the NSAA ‘Mountains are for Everyone’ award.

Primeau currently serves as treasurer of America’s Summer Golf Capital, is a member of the marketing committee for Crystal Community Ski Club and Michigan Legacy Art Park, and represents Crystal Mountain in the Great Lakes Winter Trails Council.
