Benjamin Twiggs is proud to celebrate the GRAND OPENING of its NEW DOWNTOWN Traverse City location at 305 W. Front Street, Suite D, with a weekend of community events, local partnerships, and cherry-inspired experiences June 4–7, 2026.

The celebration will kick off on Thursday, June 4, with an official ribbon cutting hosted by Traverse Connect from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary drinks, cherry samples, and an opportunity to explore the new space. The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m., followed by networking and refreshments.

Festivities continue on Friday, June 5, as Benjamin Twiggs serves as the first stop on the Downtown Traverse City Art Walk. Featured artist Jennifer Way will be painting live and signing copies of her book, Blessing of the Blossoms, a collection inspired by the beauty and resilience of Michigan orchards. Guests can also enjoy wine pourings from Black Star Farms.

On Saturday, June 6, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Benjamin Twiggs will host a special tasting event featuring Olivia Cote of Up North Charcuterie. Attendees will sample handcrafted charcuterie pairings alongside Benjamin Twiggs cherry products and cherry wine tastings. Customers who spend $75 or more during the event will be entered to win a handcrafted charcuterie board from Up North Charcuterie.

The celebration concludes on Sunday, June 7, with Family Day, featuring FREE coloring books for children and additional family-friendly activities.

The new location offers an expanded shopping experience, educational opportunities, tastings, and events designed to connect visitors with Michigan's cherry-growing heritage while supporting local cherry farmers and producers.
