Les Eckert is the Culinary Director at Great Lakes Culinary Institute at Northwestern Michigan College. Certified by the American Culinary Federation, Eckert is a Certified Executive Pastry Chef, Certified Culinary Educator and a member of the American Academy of Chefs. Eckert has been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years working in restaurants, hotels and being a business owner and in higher education for almost 15 years as an instructor and program creator and director.
