Urgent Care Veterinarian

Role Description

This is a part-time or contracted relief, on-site role for an Urgent Care Veterinarian. The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing expert medical care to animals, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on best care practices. Additionally, the Veterinarian will collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care. Omnivet is constantly growing and changing. We are actively working to expand our services to include specialty care such as internal medicine, cardiology, or surgery as well as mobile services and small ruminant medicine.

Qualifications

• Expertise in diagnosing and treating various animal illnesses and injuries
• Experience in performing a wide range of veterinary surgeries
• Strong communication skills to educate and interact with pet owners
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• State veterinary license and DVM degree required
• Previous experience in emergency or specialty veterinary care is a plus
• Passion for providing compassionate care to animals and creating an exceptional experience for pet owners.
