Grand Traverse State Bank, a division of First State Bank of Michigan, has named Avery Bigger Assistant Branch Manager for its downtown Traverse City office.

In her role, Bigger supports daily branch operations and collaborates with the bank’s retail banking, lending, operations, and leadership teams to deliver responsive, relationship-focused service to customers and the community.

Bigger brings a strong customer-service and hospitality background to the position, with experience in client relations, operational support, and service delivery. Her prior work has strengthened her attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to creating positive customer experiences.
