Celebrate aboard one of the most unique venues in Traverse City, Michigan!

Traverse Tall Ship Company offers the perfect venue for your private event: The Schooner Manitou is available for charter starting Memorial Day Weekend through the end of September. Aboard our well-appointed 114-foot vessel, you can have up to 58 guests experience this must-do adventure on Grand Traverse Bay. Our dock is conveniently located just three miles outside of Traverse City, and has ample parking.

We offer a variety of sailing experiences to choose from, and every experience features a top-notch professional crew, an opportunity to help hoist the sails or even take a turn at the wheel, and memories that will last a lifetime. (All prices listed include gratuity for the crew).

Brunch Sail, 10am-Noon, 46 Passengers, $5,325
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the main season, we offer our Brunch Sail. During this sail, you can expect a delicious meal hand-crafted below decks by the chef on our classic woodstove. We offer a range of beverages to accompany your meal. Choose from an eye-opening cup of coffee or tea, or indulge in a mimosa, screwdriver, or spicy Bloody Mary. 

Afternoon Sail, 1-3pm & 3:30-5:30pm, 58 Passengers, $3,660
Our most popular sail is the Afternoon Sail. Each sail is 2 hours long, with an optional ice cream add-on from a local creamery: Moomers! Each half pint combines two flavors: Cherries “Moo-bilee,” Moomer’s signature take on cherries jubilee, and Watershed Moment, a blend of caramel, chocolate, and shortbread in a vanilla base, available exclusively aboard Manitou. We also provide lemon and raspberry sorbet for those with allergies or dietary restrictions.

Evening Sail, 6:30-8:30pm, 58 Passengers, $4,010
Relax and allow yourself to be transported to another time as we glide across the Bay under the golden rays of the waning sun. Evening is a gorgeous and peaceful time of day to be on the water, and this sail is perfect for groups looking to finish their day with a memorable experience.
