Mt. Holiday Hosts NYC Marathon Watch & Prediction Run Party — A Morning of Running, Cheering, and Community
Traverse City, MI — Mt. Holiday invites runners, spectators, and community members to join a unique celebration of the running spirit at the NYC Marathon Watch & Prediction Run Party on Sunday, November 2, 2025. The event combines the excitement of race day with the energy of Mt. Holiday’s trails, featuring a 5K Prediction Run, live NYC Marathon viewing, brunch, cocktails, and prizes.
The morning begins at 7:00 AM with the 5K Prediction Run, a fun and challenging trail race where participants predict their finishing time before the start — no phones or watches allowed. The winner isn’t the fastest, but the runner who finishes closest to their prediction.
After the run, guests will gather inside the Mt. Holiday Lodge to enjoy a brunch buffet from the T-Bar & Grill, mimosas, Bloody Marys, and the event’s signature “NYC Prediction Cocktail.” The 2025 TCS New York City Marathon will be broadcast live across multiple screens, giving attendees the chance to cheer on the world’s top runners while competing in a Marathon Prediction Contest for prizes including New Balance shoes, NYC Marathon hats, local race entries, Mt. Holiday season passes, and tubing passes.
