TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN - The Traverse City Golf & Country Club is excited to announce that they raised $126,250 for programs benefiting children in the greater Grand Traverse area.  The money was raised by the club’s membership through donations made for any Eagle achieved on the golf course through October 15, 2024, as part of the Eagles for Children program. The following local children’s charities received grants at the Eagles for Children Award Celebration held at the club on November 6, 2024.

Rick Birndorf, Ambassador for the Traverse City Country Club’s Eagles for Children Committee, summed up this year’s program: “This is the fourth year that our club members have participated in raising money for our community children’s charities.  Each year donations have exceeded the previous year’s totals. We also added five new grant recipients since our first year in 2021. I am proud of our membership stepping up to help the most vulnerable citizens in our community, “THE KIDS.”
