Grand Traverse State Bank has announced that Wayne Mueller has joined the bank as a Market Development Officer.

Mueller brings more than 33 years of experience developing and maintaining strong client relationships, particularly with business owners and affluent families.

Prior to joining the bank, Mueller spent 12 years in banking as a Business Banker and Private Client Officer, helping clients develop tailored financial strategies and long-term banking relationships.
He also served for 21 years as Development Director for Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools, working closely with donors, families, and community leaders to support educational initiatives and strengthen community partnerships.

In his new role, Mueller will focus on expanding relationships with individuals and businesses across the region while connecting clients with the bank’s full range of financial services.
