Traverse City, MI – May 7, 2026. Tickets are now available for the 2026 Traverse City HorseShows (TCHS) season at Flintfields Horse Park. Starting June 3, this 13-week event will bring international competition, community gatherings, and summer events to Northern Michigan. Running through September, the season welcomes Olympic-level athletes, spectators, and visitors from around the world to Williamsburg for one of the region’s most distinctive summer traditions. For 2026, event organizers emphasize group outings and hospitality. Businesses, families, nonprofits, and social groups are invited to plan gatherings at Flintfields Horse Park throughout the summer. Options include relaxed afternoons at the park or special hospitality and VIP experiences. |
2026 Season Highlights

International Competition ReturnsThe season opens with four weeks of competition during the Traverse City Spring Series, presented by Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel. Highlights include four-star Grand Prix competitions on June 13 and June 27, launching a summer calendar that leads to some of the sport’s top international events later in the season. Next, the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, presented by B&D Builders, takes place in July and August, featuring six weeks of international jumping and top hunter competition. The season concludes in September with two of its most anticipated events: Major League Show Jumping on September 9–13, followed by the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Qualifier during the American Gold Cup, September 16–20. |
More Ways to Experience Flintfields Horse ParkBeyond competition, Flintfields Horse Park is open Wednesday through Sunday during the season, with free admission on non-ticketed days. Many featured Grand Prix events will take place on Saturday afternoons and evenings, followed by Après Prix gatherings with music, food, drinks, and live entertainment throughout the grounds. During the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, Sundays will also feature the Hilltop Market, bringing together local vendors, shopping, and community experiences alongside competition. “We want people to feel comfortable coming out and spending the day here, even if it’s their first time visiting the horse show,” said Emma Hall, Hospitality & Event Coordinator for Traverse City Horse Shows. “There’s a really relaxed summer atmosphere around the competition, and more opportunities than ever to gather with friends, family, or coworkers and enjoy the experience together.” The season will also include chef-led dining experiences, live music, expanded hospitality offerings, and group experiences throughout the summer. |
Community ImpactTraverse City Horse Shows’ Charity Ticket Program also returns for 2026, with 100 percent of general admission ticket revenue benefiting local nonprofit organizations. Since launching, the program has contributed more than $160,000 to Northern Michigan nonprofits.
