United We Smile Needs Your Urgent Support
After serving nearly 2,300 patients and providing over $2.3 million in dental care services at no direct cost to those most in need.  After countless stories of changing lives through improved oral health, 255 dental interns trained.  And after the many smiles we have been privileged to bring to children, parents, veterans, and those with special needs…
United We Smile needs your support to help sustain the
clinic’s operations through the end of this year.
 
We have accomplished some remarkable things since launching United Way of Northwest Michigan’s United We Smile program, a first-of-its-kind mission-driven dental clinic that also serves as a teaching facility for dental students.  However, operating a safety net dental clinic focused on serving patients who can’t access care elsewhere continues to be financially challenging, especially in the current environment, including with uncertainty related to ongoing funding levels for programs such as Medicaid. 
 
Thus, we need your support to continue this important work!
United We Smile has an immediate need for donations to address our
current operational needs through the end of 2025.
 
This funding is critical and will allow United We Smile to:

• Continue current treatment plans for existing patients, including children and veterans.
• Provide urgent dental care to new patients, including those on our waiting list, so they can be stabilized and get an initial start on their journey to better oral health.
