Michigan Beer & Brat Festival: May 25
Calling all Michigan craft beverage lovers! Get ready to raise a glass to the unofficial start of summer at the 17th annual Michigan Beer and Brat Festival at Crystal Mountain. This year's festival boasts over two dozen Michigan-based vendors, including some familiar favorites you're sure to love. Craft beer connoisseurs will cheers to the return of iconic breweries like Founders, Bells, and Stormcloud, but look forward to trying something new as the festival welcomes Broad Leaf Brewery and Three Bridges Taproom for the first time. And let's not forget about the brats! Crystal Mountain promises a selection of gourmet brats from local meat markets that are anything but ordinary. (We've even heard rumors of a new mac n cheese brat making its debut on the menu – a true match made in foodie heaven.)
General Admission includes an 8oz commemorative beer glass and 10 food and beverage tickets, while the VIP experience offers an exclusive voucher for a Brewer's Special Reserve beer, 20 food and beverage tickets, and early access to the festival which means an extra hour with The Drew Hale Band, choice of seating, and shorter lines from 3pm-4pm. Lastly, whether you stay the night at Crystal Mountain in one of the many lodging options or get a ride, take the safest route and leave your vehicle parked at Crystal with no repercussions.
Summer Sneak Peek
As promised, a sneak peak at what’s happening this summer at Crystal Mountain. According to the calendar, the first day of summer is June 20, but clearly the summer fun at Crystal Mountain begins much sooner. Not only are we kicking off the activities early, but we’re offering some new and exciting attractions including the Crystal Bungee Trampoline , Crystal Coaster DUAL Alpine Slide , more poolside cabanas, and a new fleet of high-tech golf carts!
- Crystal Bungee Trampoline (Ages 6+): Up to four people will be strapped in individually to bounce high into the sky and practice your acrobatics.
- Crystal Coaster Alpine Slide (Ages 3+): After riding the Loki Quad chairlift to the top of the mountain, you’ll hop on a specially designed alpine slide sled to cruise down one of TWO 1,600-foot curved tracks. You control your speed through dips, tunnels and high-banked turns.
- Private Cabana Rental : Enjoy a private, shaded cabana with seating for six guests. Includes two loungers and four decks chairs, table & outdoor rug.
- GPS Golf Carts : They’ve been referred to as the Tesla of golf carts. Crystal’s new GPS golf carts from Club Car feature interactive touchscreens which give an overview display of each hole, dynamic distances to the pins, an electronic scorecard, and real-time messaging to and from the club house.
